Shalom!
About 10 days into the Israel National Trail hike for charity and much has transpired. The three of us hikers embarked from Tel Dan and made our way to Tel Hai, past Kiryat Shemona, into Tzfat, up Mt. Meron, through wadis and endless fields, Tiberias, to the top of Mount Tavor and soon to formidable Mt. Carmel. We fast-forwarded for a day event in Netanya to walk along the boardwalk with the Forgotten People Fund charity benefitting the Ethiopian community in that city.
I've personally been sidelined here and there due to dehydration, a badly wounded heel, and blessed with blisters I don't dare tell my mother about. We are looking forward to the coastal plain terrain, ascending to Jerusalem and spending Pesach there, and I am presently co-coordinating an excursion event in Sderot in the first days of May. Stay tuned...
Major thank yous to the angels at MASA, WUJS Arad, Hadassah, Taglit-birthright israel, aish.com, Ascent of Safed, Darom Radio, Channel 2 TV, and the Sderot Media Center!
Thanks to all for spreading the word and for all the ongoing support!
