KIDS FOR KIDS - Featured at USY Conference

Part of KIDS FOR KIDS’ mandate has always been to connect Israeli kids with their Diaspora counterparts. USY (United Synagogue Youth) invited a K4K Youth Advisory Board member to speak at its annual Conference in San Diego. Chaitze Tavens, whose father survived a stabbing by a terrorist, also lost her dear friend to terrorism three years ago.
Chaitze, 18, shared with the USYers at the Beth Am weekend the impact on her when terrorists murdered her friend, his mother, and two brothers. During the Kinnus in which over 300 Jewish teens participated, Chaitze also gave a picture of teen life in today’s Israel, as well as how KIDS FOR KIDS helps to ease the traumas, grief, and suffering.
K4K is looking forward to a mutual growing experience for all!
