Politics Aside
Thousands of Jewish children are suffering
the effects of their Gush Katif expulsion.
Their foundation stripped away…Broken promises…
Homelessness…Witness to violence…Left to deal with feelings of
betrayal, helplessness, despair, terror and acute mistrust.
K4K is providing crisis intervention services, trauma workshops,
and therapeutic activities to further a sense of stability for these
distressed children.
THEY NEED YOUR HELP!
K4K continues it’s dedication to the Gush Katif children by providing access to our Old City Library where they KIDS have access to emotional support as well as are given the oppertunity to create a Digital Story.
Three week Summer Camp for Gush Katif Kids Summer 2005
K4K partnered with Misrad Hachinuch (Office of Education) in a camp program for the children temporarily housed in Jerusalem hotels after their expulsion from their Gush Katif homes.

Among the K4K activities were Karate, Art, and Dance chugim. Nearly every day, the children (and many of the parents) enjoyed trips to various attractions throughout Israel. Among the favorite spots were Gani HaTa’aruach where the kids rowed boats on the lake and cycled on rented bikes. A cruise around Yaffo’s seaport was also a huge hit.

K4K continues it’s dedication to the Gush Katif children.
Chugim continue in an after-school program. A cooking/baking class has been added along with Digital Storytelling for junior high teens twice a week. The D-Story Lab is housed in the K4K Library in Jerusalem’s Old City. Each week K4K will provide a ‘surprise’ trip to an exciting local.
Dudu, from Misrad Hachinuch responsible in the Sha’arei Yerushalayim Hotel’s for the evacuees said, “What would we have done without your help. KIDS FOR KIDS is my back.”
Well, KIDS FOR KIDS thanks all you generous K4K donors. You are “our back”!
