D.I.V.O.T.E. Sponsers Three K4K Carnivals

In the last three years, terrorists have killed 46 Jewish mothers, fathers, sons and daughters, and severely injured at least 50 others, in Israel’s Shomron (Samaria), but the effects on their families, friends, neighbors and communities go much deeper.  Many are afraid to travel on the roads for fear of snipers, and there are still others who have lost their jobs because the roads are often closed due to terrorist activity.  Even medical treatment has been suspended for some, due to the lack of public transportation from their remote homes.

Mothers wait in fear for their children to return home safely from school.  Youngsters are fearful for their parent’s safety.  Communities infiltrated by terrorists.  Shootings on the road.  Poverty.  Death.  There are some of the day-to-day realities faced by the families living in the 33 communities of the Shomron Region. 

It is becoming more and more difficult for families to find any relief in the form of child-centered recreation.  Either they cannot get to activities because they fear traveling on the roads, or they cannot afford to pay for entertainment for the entire family.  This is why KIDS FOR KIDS and D.I.V.O.T.E.  (Durban Israel Victims of Terror Enterprises) chose the Shomron to host three Children’s Carnivals!

                Come join the KIDS on:              

October 12 (2 p.m. -6 p.m.) Kochav HaShachar. Children and their parents from the entire Binyamin area are invited. There will be hundreds there for this one.

October 14 (11 a.m.-4 p.m.) Har Bracha. There will be an area-wide Chagiga. The MatNas will be providing buses every 20 minutes to and from surrounding communities such as Itamar, Elon Moreh, Yitzhar, Tapuach. At least 2000 people are expected  throughout the day.

October 16 (4 p.m.-7 p.m.) Barkan. This carnival will be a regional event and will serve the communities of Revava, Yakir, Alei Zahav, Kiryat Nitufim and Peduel.
