SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS
"FALLING BETWEEN THE STRETCHERS"
KIDS FOR KIDS will, once again, bring the summer camp experience to 200 youngsters this year. The purpose of the K4K Summer Camp is to give children a reprieve from the stresses of living in high impact areas during the long academic year.

These campers are those we refer to as “falling between the stretchers ”. These are youngsters who have been targeted and shot at, but luckily, not wounded…these children have witnessed terrorist attacks…or have lost family, friends or neighbors to terrorism. These are kids who confront the dangers of local roads frequently under attack for nearly four years.
The main camp facility will be located in the Benyamin area. During the course of the three week program, beginning July 28 through August 18, as a special treat, each camper will spend between two to four days away at our more rustic campsite outside the Acko area. (The amount of time spent in the Northern venue will be determined by the age of child.)
The camp will serve 200 children, ages 6 to 14.
We at KIDS FOR KIDS understand that mental and emotional health is a necessity if our next generation of Israeli children are to pass through this current terrorist crisis. Sports and outdoor recreation are enrichments that every Jewish child deserves, whether they live in Scarsdale, Jerusalem or Boston.
We hope that someday, our Israeli children will live in peace, not war. Until that day comes, we trust you agree with us….that every Jewish kid deserves a childhood….even while living under fire.
