Red String Thing Bookmark

Ancient mystics began a tradition of wrapping red string around Rachel’s tomb seven times while reciting certain prayers. There are those even today who wear these red strings on their wrists to emotionally connect with Rachel, our ancestral mother, who ‘cries on high’ for her children.

KIDS FOR KIDS has taken the red string as an appropriate symbol to remember that in Israel there are thousands of children who are victims of terrorism. Our tears are raising funds for these children to ease their innocent suffering.
